Title: Resolving Liquid Measurement Problems Class 260
Author: Jane Williams
Source: 1999 International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement

Abstract: Custody transfer measurements of liquid can be performed in either a static or dynamic manner. All custody transfer measurements should be performed with the utmost of care as they form the cash register for the parties involved. This paper will discuss the various areas where measurement differences occur and how to resolve these differences. Industry standards such as those published by API (American Petroleum Institute) and ASTM are good resources for determining the proper techniques to utilize.
