Title: Gas Well Measurement In The Appalachian Area
Author: L. A. Pearson
Source: 1976 Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course
Year Published: 1976
Abstract: In the design and construction of gas measurement facilities at wellheads in the Appalachian area, it should be understood that standard engineering design requirements will be adhered to. These are found in the Department of Transportation Rules and Regulations. For stations using orifice meters, the A. G. A. Gas Measurement Committee Report No. 3 is used for all conditions. Equally important are various parameters included in the design of these facilities. Some of these are rock pressure, open flow, various types of gas analyses, meter sizing, site selection, piping configuration, environmental requirements, provisions for simplifying necessary periodic tests, freezing and fluid conditions.
