Author: James A. Ranfone

Abstract: Before discussing the specifics of model code coverage for natural gas installations (i,e. piping, venting, etc) within the United States, it is important to understand the model code process. Building codes, including plumbing codes, are legally a state prerogative, but in the majority of states, the local code jurisdictions have assumed this authority.
