Abstract: The cubic foot bottle consists of a water tank with three uprights attached to the tank, a top frame joining the three uprights at the top and grooved wheel mounted on the top frame. A cable runs over the wheel to one end of which is attached the brass cubic foot bottle and from the other is suspended a balance weight.
