Abstract: Increasing incidence of diversion of service prompts this manufacturer of gas related instruments to offer features which make tampering difficult to accomplish. If tampering in fact occurs it becomes evident to the meterman. This paper presents the features of Mercury Instruments recording gauges. volume recorders and volume correctors which discourage tampering.
