Abstract: A virtual metering system is a tool that is used to infer the oil, water and gas production rates. The tool can be utilized for both production and injection wells in the upstream oil & gas space. A virtual meter provides an estimate of a wells production by utilizing a set of input measurement data and parameters that describe the system.
