Abstract: Gas service thell deteciion is assigned to the Customer Services Department at Washington Gas. We make a sharp distinction between actual, verified attempts to steal gas through illegal connections, stolen meters and meter bypasses, and customers who simply turn on meters designated as off in our accounting system.
