Abstract: The meter tube is often referred to as the primary device since it, along with the orifice plate, is essential to proper measurement. The ::onditlon of the tube must be correct in meeting the requirements or the specifications of A.G.A. Report #3 and If these conditions are not complied with and maintained, no matter what type of secondary device or meter that is installed, the measurement can never be correct.
