Abstract: Direct measurement of flow rates in multiphase flows (liquids and gas) without separation is possible in the oil & gas production upstream area. The concept is now considered by operators in most developments of oil and gas fields and it has been demonstrated that when correctly designed and operated it brings some significant benefits both on investments and operations to the users.
