Abstract: The purpobo of this paper is to develop a framework within which to facilitate the selection of industrial regulator.. All gas pressuee regulators are composed of three basic elements. These are the measuring element, the restricting element, and the loading element. Measuring Element This is the element that receives a signal or senses when an increaee or decrease in downstream pressuee is taking place. The measuring element responds to the signal by exerting a force against the standard or loading force and thereby maintaining the downstream control pressure.
