Abstract: Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) is the fastest growing trace moisture measurement technology applied to natural gas and petrochemical processing. Natural gas feed stocks for liquefaction and liquid separation utilize cryogenic process that require complete dehydration of the gas to avoid ice formation in heat exchangers. In Petrochemical process such as catalytic reforming and ethylene production the concentration of water must be controlled to specific trace levels.
