Abstract: There is a new and different standard on orifice meters that has been approved and is published by the International Standards Organization (ISO) in their Technical Committee 30 (TC-30) on the Measurement of Fluid Flow in a Closed Conduit. The differences in this standard and the present AGA-3 Orifice Metering of Natural Gas will be examined so that those parties who deal in the International area will be aware of them and thus be better prepared in negotiations where the two standards are at issue.
