Abstract: The unaccounted-for gas is the difference between the gas received into a system and the gas delivered out of a system over a given time period. Unaccounted-for is sometimes referred to as gas loss or leakage. The loss of gas in a system is very costly and deserves the attention of the office and field personnel alike.
