Abstract: The odorization of natural gas is rapidly becoming one of the most important functions of a gas utility. This fact has surfaced within the past ten years as evidenced by the increasing number of litigation proceedings where a utilitys odorization practices are questioned. If an explosion or fire occurs in an area served by your company, make certain your odorization records are adequate and accurate because the odds are your company will have to defend them in court.
