Abstract: The use of electronic computers in calculating gas volumes and factors is not only an advantage but in many instances a necessity. Not only the factors which are used in computing volumes, but also other useful information can be calculated by machine. The use of a computer in performing the calculation of the gas measurement factors and ultimately the volum? will reduce the complex problems of gas measurement to a routine operation whereby it may be handled by persons having a limited knowledge of the subject.
