Abstract: Every day, the world consumes over 90 million barrels of crude oil to feed a number of needs including supplying petroleum for automobiles, aviation, heat, plastics, roofing, roadways and infrastructure, and many other industries and uses. Coming in many different forms, the sources of oil range dramatically all around the world. With these variations come a multitude of densities, viscosities, and potential contaminants, all of which have the potential to change the market value of the oil.
