Abstract: The use of computers in all areas of industry and business has become commonplace, and their application to custody transfer measurement of liquids is no exception. A substantial majority of new measurement stations are being specified with some type of digital computer based flow measurement instruments. In addition, many existing metering sites are being upgraded with computer based instrumentation.
