Abstract: The most equitable means of exchange of Natu ral Gas and Natural Gas Liquid products is by the measure of their energy. In order to determine the energy of the product, the individual components within the product must be measur ed. The most common and accepted means of measuring the amounts of each component with a Natural Gas or Natural Gas Liquid sample is by the use of a gas chromatograph (GC).
