Abstract: Using state of art test equipment and few off shelf devices you can build a precision Noise Figure system to measure or calibrate Noise sources and Amplifier from 10 MHz to 110 GHz. With todays complex applications in satellite and communication systems the transmitted signal is very weak therefore any additive noise from front end receiver would reduce our ability to have a clean communication signals. Manufacturers are at the edge of technology to built better communication system and that requires devices with lower Noise Figure.
