Abstract: There is no task which has ever been done that would not have been done better liad the person or persons doing the job been, gifted with the experience available after the work was completed. Each step taken in any work makes the preceding steps seem relatively simple and the steps that follow that much easier. In order to avoid duplication of effort and to continually progress, adequate records must be kept of any work. These records must show what the work consists of, duration of the work, the results obtained at various intervals, the cost of obtaining the results and the value of the results obtained. The comparison of the cost of the work to the value of the results obtained will no doubt show improved methods are justified.
