Abstract: This paper will review the elements of gas contracts as seen through the eyes of a Gas Buyer for an interstate pipeline. There are certain variations between interstate and intrastate gas contracts as well as certain differences between the contracts of different interstate gas pipelines. Regardless of these differences, certain basic subject matter must be addressed in all gas contracts.
