Abstract: This paper describes actual experiences in setting up the latest in design for a custody transfer metering for measuring sales gas and liquid propane for PETRONAS Gas Bhd, the leading processing and transmission gas company in Malaysia. The Gelugor Metering Station in Penang Island, Malaysia is the first Class 4 ASME B31.8 sales gas metering station ever designed and constructed by PETRONAS Gas Berhad.
