Abstract: Based on the new ANSI/ API 2530 (1990/91) orifice meters are capable of achieving uncertainty levels on the discharge coefficient that range below 0.5%. To achieve this level of uncertainty on the coefficient certain conditions must be met. These conditions are as follows:
