Abstract: Gas Chromatography (GC) is very widely used for analysis of natural gas, with the most frequent use for the analytical data being the calculation of properties of the gas. Just as the composition data are used to calculate properties, so the uncertainty values associated with the composition data allow calculation of the uncertainty associated with the property.
