Abstract: In attempts to achieve more accurate gas flow measurements, industry is placing more emphasis on defming and avoiding adverse unsteady flow conditions. Interactions of pulsation energy and piping acoustics are being considered. Industry has put a great deal of effort into replacing relatively long gage line tubing with closecoupled, straight bore manifolds. This paper touches on gage line effects on gas flow measurement.
