Abstract: The task of providing a fully traceable calibration service world-wide to support a broad range of multifunction calibrators can be expensive and difficult to implement. A portable multifunction transfer standard designed by Wavetek has proved to be an effective tool for automating the calibration process. The system accommodates automated calibration procedures that enable inexperienced operators to simulate the calibration routines recommended by the manufacturer.
