Abstract: Off-shore measurement systems for the Ekotlsk, North Sea project had to meet many unusual operating conditions. Because of these operating conditions usual methods of volumetric measurement were not adequate. In order to overcome the deficiencies, a mass measurement concept was used for both gas and liquid production, and pipeline measurements. In order to convert weight and products to volume, sampling and analysis was included to permit component volume calculations.
