Abstract: With the increasing use of gas transmission requirements have made higher pressure necessary. Thus, at various points along the transmission and distribution system pressure regulators must be used to controi to an accurate and lower pressure. REASONS FOR PRESSURE REGULATION There are four basic reasons for pressure regulation: Safety, Measurement. Economy, and Combustion.
