Abstract: Automated production testing of electro-mechanical devices such as pressure transducers can be achieved using off-the-shelf PC technology. A PC may be readily adapted for operator interface and data storage, and is easily interfaced to the real world through an integrated data acquisition and control system. Statistical analysis and sorting of various performance parameters can be implemented on the PC using standard spreadsheet packages. This paper describes how such a system was constructed for the final testlng of pressure transducers, and how production test data was statfstically analyzed for compliance to performance speciffcations.
