Abstract: Multiphase flowmeter (MPFM) manufacturers lack indu stry standards for comparison and validation of meter performance. The refore, when introducing a new meter to the market, the lack of standards is a challenge and will likely delay access to oilfield trials and product commercializa tion. Since 2010 Abbon has developed a new non-radioactiv e multiphase flowmeter. It is a 3 meter with a compact and durable design. Me chanical design, materials, electronics, engineering and software coding have m atured from component testing and prototyping into a field ready product
