Abstract: 2 Name Confidential Date Center line content NATURAL GAS PRODUCTION ? Produced natural gas comes from natural or stimulated reservoirs. ? Both reservoir types often co - produce liquids with the gas ? Well - pad separation is typical, but gas flowing from it is usually at or near, either or both of, water or hydrocarbon dew points. ? Additionally, well site separation may fail or flood , leading to liquid carry - over into the produced gas stream, and 2 phase flow. ? Gas near its dew point is also subject to retrograde condensation of liquids. ? Wet Gas: Taken together, these factors means the gas at the well head metering point is usually saturated , may have mist flow , will periodically/randomly be contaminated with free liquid , and for which residue or standing fluid might collect in the measuring section
