Abstract: Every Gas Company in the country has its own ideas as to the best design for a measuring and regulating station. This paper will discuss only the stations that the author has had experience with, either in designing, planning or operating, or a combination of all. We all know that there is not a universal station to fit all needs for all companies, so with this in mind, we will attempt to explain how and why Transco designs its stations.
