Abstract: The response of turbine flowmeter in horizontal oil-water two-phase flow is experimentally investigated. The flow patterns in pipe as well as the turbine behavior are captured via high speed videography. Varied incoming flow rates up to 30md are tested. It is found that the turbine response in oil-water flow deflects from that in pure water. The deflection direction and extent depend on respective flow rates rather than flow pattern
