Abstract: Electronic volume correctors (EVC) are an essential part of gas measurement departments. The purpose of the volume corrector is to calculate corrected volume of natural gas through meters. The device is used to compensate for changes in actual operating conditions of the gas system. In this paper we will cover the aspects involved in calculating and configuring electronic volume correctors.
