Abstract: This is a summary of a continuing investigation of methods for estimating the parameters of sinusoidal signals corrupted by noise. The purpose of the study has been to compare several algorithms for computing the amplitude of the fundamental component of a sampled waveform. Because of their intended application to instrument calibration, the methods considered must be capable of real-time performance
