Title: Application Of Flow Computers For Gas Measurement And Control

Abstract: Today, electronic flow computers (EFCs) are rapidly becoming the standard for real-time gas measurement. Paper charts still have their place in select gas measurement applications, but it is becoming obvious that EFCs will be the basis for all flow measurement in the near future. As more and more EFCs are commissioned, customers sometime learn hard lessons regarding electronic gas measurement. Many times these distasteful lessons could have been avoided if proper consideration was given to the selection of an EFC supplier and the application at hand.
