Abstract: When natural gas is measured by means of a large positive displacement meter, some means of recording the pressure and temperature as well as tha registration of the index is necessary if we want to know the actual volume of gas that has passed the meter. Several classes are held in different short courses, as well as the Southwestirn Short Course, to explain the basic gas laws. The facts can be narrowed down to this: If we know the volume of gas at one condition of temperature and pressure, we can determine the volume at any other condition of temperature and pressure.
