Abstract: The proper handling of Natural Gases requires servous test of determine quality and to establish knowledge for control. Water vapor and hydrocarbon dew point is the one test that is essential to insure that water and hydrocarbons do not enter piping and control systems. Water and hydrocarbons in the right proportion mixed with pressure and temperature drops can and do shut down piping systems interfereing with an efficient, and economical operation.
