Abstract: Many Laboratories are using personal computer (PC) calibration and data management software to collect and report information. Much of this information only exists on the computer systems. Many of these computer systems have a few to dozens of computers networked to allow the sharing of information. PCs are also now part of the processes of the laboratory. If the PCs are down or not operating, then work can not be completed. Additionally, if the data should become lost or damaged, your business could be faced with a very difficult situation.
