Abstract: The role of a Service Technician is as important in measurement es the role of any other employee directly related to measurement and must be given special consideration. Considerable time, effort, and money are expended each year to develop and expand purchasing specifications, meter shop procedures, and meter and instrument repair technique, all for the specific purpose of providing a meter and instrument that have been properly prepared for accurate registration of both maximum end minimum demands and will have the endurance to make an accurate registration over an extended period of time.
