Abstract: The two comnon methods used to measure the RMS value of an AC waveform are thermal conversion and anal,og RMS computation using logging - antilogging devices. Now a digital technique is available that competes very favorably with the above two methods in terms of accuracy and reading rate, in addition to having several advantages of its own.
