Abstract: The Columbia Gas System Service Corporation, Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation, and Bailey Controls Company, under sponsorship from the Gas Research Institute, participated in a joint effort to demonstrate improved combustion efficiency on a two-cycle turbocharged compressor engine by use of exhaust-gas analysis. This paper documents the results of these tests and summarizes the economic benefit that accrued to the specific engine under test.
