Abstract: industry about 15 years ago. Its use at first was very limited and mostly on an experimental basis. The industry as a whole would not except the turbine neter for custody transfer. Most procedures were unfamiliar with and preferred more conventional means of neasurement over the turbine. In this period of time the gas turbine neter has made giant strides in being generally accepted in the industry. vlajor offshore pipeline systems have jeen built using 100% turbine meter neasurement. More and more measurement jngineers have come to recognize the jas turbine meter as a quality measurenent device. It has some unique qualiies that makes it the best choice for neasurement in many applications.
