Abstract: Specific gravity is one of the basic properties used for chjiracterization and measurement of gases. Instruments used for detcnnining specific gravity ue called gravitorneters. There arc also methods by which specific gravity can be determined indirectly. Accurate detennination of specific gravity is essential for accurate measurement of gas flow rate.
