Abstract: The manufacturer of the kinetic type gas gravitometers has completed a long-range program for developing improved portable and recording instruments. The objectives of this program were to: a) increase the readability, sensitivity, accuracy and operating convenience over any previous gas gravitometer, b) retain the simplicity, ruggedness and fast response of the original kinetic gravitometers, and c) incorporate the same basic operating mechanism and achieve maximum interchageability of components in portable and stationary instruments.
