Abstract: This paper provides an overview of a large SCADA system for well field measurement and operations. This is a large-scale project, which applies to 6000 well sites. Keys to the project are recently-developed electronic gas flow computers, which are highly-integrated and low power-consuming, and radio communication equipment rated for hazardous areas. Also, minimizing costof- installation was a very important issue.
