Abstract: A flow computer can determine the instantaneous water oil ratio from the live measured density if the density of the water is constant and the density of the oil is constant. Example S.G. of water is known to be 1.05 S.G. of oil is known to be 0.85 Instantaneous measured density 0.95 Therefore the current ratio of oil to water is 50%.
