Abstract: For many years high pressure positive displacement gas meters have been equipped with instrumentation that would correct the pipe line volume of gas registered by the gas meter to some known conditions of base pressure, base temperature or base pressure and temperature. These devices for the most part have consisted of circular cams with a raised profile that designated the amount of correction to be applied for my measured condition of pressure and temperature
