Abstract: Code changes and seismic studies prompted the modification of a 13-year-old LNG peakshaving plant to improve its safety. The major improvement was the construction of a high, concrete dike around the LNG tank. Other work included the relocation of the refrigerant storage, improved firefighting capabilities, and additional safety features.
