Abstract: The explosive proliferation of microcomputers in the home and office environments is carrying over into commercial applications including the control and measurement of hydrocarbon flow. Today, specialized and general purpose microcomputers are allowing the designer greater flexibility while providing superior accuracy and enhanced man-machine interface capabilities. The wider acceptance of computers has translated into an increase in the number of measurement stations being designed and renovated today which are utilizing state of the art computer equipment,
